Ask admin if you can post some pics + info of your lodge.... lots of guys will appreciate it.

Will be busy this time around, and then dreading the December holiday, so yes I will do so.

Nhonguane Lodge Warning…Again…A new Scheme[/b]

The beleaguered Nhonguane Lodge has been liquidated [/b]after years of reports of mismanagement, fraud, deceit, illegal activities and grand theft condo.

Justice is now being served, the wheel has turned and the shithouse of cards has come down around Anton’s de Wet’s ears.

However, dishonest habits die hard and Anton Junior is actively marketing the lodge as ‘for sale’[/b].

What Anton de Wet ‘failed’ to convey in his advertisement is that the Lodge has been finally liquidated in the High Court due to mismanagement and debt.

Anton de Wet therefore has no right to sell Nhonguane or any of it’s remaining assets[/b]. Any such transaction is illegal and will be void.[/b]

It must also be noted that all the houses and the tented camp have been sold to private investors and that Anton de Wet owns very little assets in Nhonguane Lodge.

There are also a number of legal actions in process against Nhonguane Lodge, the most noteworthy an Appeal Court action from the owner of house 1 against Nhonguane. This case alone can last in excess of  7 years.

With the company going under, the other investors have no choice but to commence with legal action against Nhonguane to reclaim their investment.

The owner of the tented camp is also taking legal action against Nhonguane claiming 25% shares in Nhonguane.

As far as the liquidation goes, there is R22 million of valid claims against the estate to date.

Christine Jordaan owes 4% of the liquidated company and a further 4% of the company is owned by Cygnivert Pty Ltd.

The best for last: Anton de Wet does not own any shares in Nhonguane Lda, not a single one. The shares were channeled through a number of front companies to South Africa when things started getting hot in Mozambique and ended up in a Corporation of which Anton de Wet is not even a member.

Anton Senior has fled Mozambique and is now laying low in Thailand where he reportedly is setting up base and intends to ‘get a wife’.

Should anybody be gullible to give a sizable deposit for the Lodge it is obvious what will happen. Senior does not have to disappear with the money, he is gone already.

Also with the lodge under curatorship, giving deposits for bookings for holiday purposes is also a no no.

For further info the home-owners can be contacted:

Jaco van Heerden

Jan Smit 0825781404

            Piet du Toit 0823883322

            Trynie du Plessis 0828805628

The soap opera of The Dum and The Desperate continues.

Good news regarding happenings in Santa Maria.

We are winning the war at Nhonguane Lodge.

The first success was when the holding company of Nhonguane Lodge was liquidated in a South African Court. The holding company is now under curatorship.

I myself had great success in the Mozambican courts. I got awarded a court order giving me back possession of my house. The other investors are going to follow suit, and soon all the houses will be back in the possession of the true owners.

We went there on 30 May 2013, in an almost military operation, over land and sea, with representatives of the court, police, local chiefs and our advogado.

We received some resistance in typical fashion with a lot of excuses, explanations and bullshit  being told, but after I applied a bolt cutter to the first lock it was fait accompli. They didn’t even bother to cut the water and electricity and we stayed for 2 nights.

I changed all locks and Bheki Nhaka, the big skipper, is now a resident security guard in the house to prevent break- ins.

Sad news however is that the house has been ransacked, there is almost nothing left. Freezers, microwave, even those heavy beds made on order out of ironwood have been stolen. Hundreds of thousands worth of furniture and personal items. Also 2 of my quadbikes, kyaks, windsurfers and of course all my fishing tackle. Even the Bibles have been stolen.

How low can you go?

I have opened a huge case of theft against the perpetrators for all this.

Anybody who wants to know more of what really is happening in Santa Maria can contact the home-owners:

Gert  Delport 0832278163
Piet du Toit  0823883322
Trynie du Plessis 0828805628

Attached is a photograph of the court order being delivered and signed by everybody except the bedraggled opposing party who refused to sign.

Also attached is a photograph of myself with a recent newspaper for the non believers, some new locks and an empty bottle or two.

Their website is still up an running and taking deposits from unsuspecting victims. Surely it must be possible to have the site closed down?

The auction for the shares of Nhonguane Lodge in Santa Maria took place on Friday 2 August.

96% of the shares were sold for 3.6M Zar to the highest bidder, Alzu Property Trust.

They are one of the original investors who owned house no. 7 before the trouble started.

There will hopefully be many happy days to come now that new managament will take over.

The shares of Nhonguane Lodge have been sold on Auction on Friday 2nd of August to one of the investors (Alzu Properties) for 3.6M ZAR.
Curiously, Anton de Wet vociferously blames his own reputation for the lack of interest in the auction. If you spend years meticulously developing and nurturing a foul reputation then you must know that it will come back and bite you at some stage or other.
In spite of the Nhonguane Lodge having changed hands the advertisements for Nhonguane and Ponta Torres bookings on the internet are still up and running. The old regime is still taking bookings in their own name with deposits going to Chane van der Merwe.
Anybody that want to book MUST TAKE NOTE, YOU WILL BE THROWING MONEY IN THE WATER IF YOU BOOK THROUGH AND PAY A THIRD PARTY!
Any houses being offered for sale will of course also be bogus schemes.
Since the liquidation in September the properties have been neglected with malicious damage thrown in. Deadbeats revenge.
It is unsure at this stage when the repairs will be completed and the lodge fully operational again.
DO NOT PAY THESE DESPICABLE PEOPLE ANY MONEY FOR ACCOMMODATION. IT WILL BE LOST!

The good news at Nhonguane Lodge continues.

Hetta van Heerden (the owner of the tented camp at the lodge) has agreed to take over as director and on site manager of the lodge. She has been on site for a month now and is busy with general maintenance, straightening things out. (regruk)

My spouse and I have done several trips (to be exact, I've been through te Elephant park 20 times since 31 May 2013) to renovate and improve our house. A new deck and stairs have been added, a water tank and pressure pump complete with pop-up sprinklers have been added as well as some serious earthworks and gardening.  We'll sand and Rubol the floors next

Getting the place fixed up is a lot of work, but it is hugely satisfying, especially after the atrocious treatment we received from the previous regime. Now that caring people with brains have taken over the improvements are already evident

Nhonguanes new website/booking office is also  up and running. This aspect is being looked after by the new booking agent, Trynie du Plessis who is also the owner of house no. 2

The site is www.nhonguanelodge.co.za

Trynie's contact no is 0828805628

A word of caution: Book through Trynie or the official website only. As mentioned in posts above there are still desperadoes at large who want to bleed the last few cents out of their truncated association with Nhonguane

We have done some serious renovations to our house this December.
New decks are in, the floors have been sanded and Rubbol oiled
Water tank, pressure pump and sprinkler system are in place which means we have proper pressure in the showers at last. (The computer controlled pop-up sprinkler system had the locals talking like crazy, they thought we were mad when we started burying those sprinklers)
The wife worked her butt of to fit custom made mozzi nets.
The sliding doors now work
The jacuzzi also fixed
You can tell I am a chuffed home-owner after all the hell we've been through
