PROBLEMS , HELP

Hi Guys

There has been a bit of action today in regards to the Dries Fuls, Francois Burger, Greg Kellerman Fund Raiser.

It seems that the money collected from this drive was never paid out to the intended recipients.

The organisers have taken it upon themselves to determine how these funds will be distributed in total disregard for the purpose that it was collected.

I have managed to piece together a few bits and pieces of what occurred.

1)The organisers collected around R7000,00.They havnt disclosed the exact amount for reasons we do not understand.

2)They have with held the money because they claim they do not know how much was sent to some of the recipients directly.

3)They now claim that they need to hold onto the money until they can meet again because some of the committee has gone on holiday.

4)It appears that this will only happen next year.

5)The organisers are slamming everyone who dares question them and are threatening to ban peeps from other forums.

Personally I think this is a load of bullocks and that the money should be payed immediately across into one of the beneficiaries accounts for distribution from there.

I have never in my life seen such a display.That money was donated for a cause and not given to a committee to decide what to do with it.

Seems the organisers need to do some xmas shopping this year

The only way this money is going to get where it is supposed to is to raise all hell about it.

I thought there was more than 7k raised ?? I asked the question also , matter of fact we having a full go at it on ctf and rockandsurf at the moment. This is gonna be ugly and I am not in the mood for uglyness.

I was told not to interfer in CTF admin business , I then reminded then it was my idea driven on the forums by me and the forums reps as well , we have every right to know !!

They refuse to pay anything across or to account for themselves.I will make 100% sure of the names of those involved and then post them

Alright here goes ( please nobody ban me::jest)

"CTF Admin will do the disbursements as seen fit by them. There will be no discussion about this. Once we have decided how it will be done that will be final"

CTF is Cape Town Fishing.They have made their moderators the " KOMITET " and will decied How,If and When the money will be transferred.

They claim that nothing can be done until one of there moderators is back from holiday in JHB , where as we all know there is no cell phones , internet , landlines etc etc.

Until then and until they can organise a meeting they will do nothing.

Guys there are huge irrgularities here.This money , whether it is fully collected or not , should just be divided by three and sent on.

At the moment for all we know it is being used for other purposes..........

Hey dude , there was a wad collected at the beach and it appears some donors were given other bank details although I cannot substantiate that.
Mr Burger recieved two transfers which he declared to the organisers.

this is actually unacceptable...do they have the right to withhold the money from the benifiters??? surely they cannot do that if the fishing community donated this money so that they could get the help needed so technically speaking they are actually stealing? correct me if i am wrong pls

I do not know if it is technically theft , they never said when they would do a transfer.

All I know is that after a month the organisers dont know when they will do a transfer and to whom the money will go.

I agree with you that it is unacceptable and the organisers respose is enough for most guys to start throwing punches...........

The final statement from the organisers.

"I now consider this matter closed for the time being, till such time as CTF Admin can have a meeting. This I can assume will be early in the New Year."

So a great big f u all and see you on the new year.I will be taking this matter up EVRYWHERE I can and we see what happens.

The only thing that has kept me smiling today is the way I have heard some of the KOMITET bitch about our government hahahahahahahaah move over Mr Zooma here comes CTF

what? are the organisers stupid? there are 3 people to whom the money should go to...the people involved in the accident, it is not a complicated situation! all respect to you hooked for telling us about this!
