Most certainly, you have any leads?Looking for the 13'6" HMG Lite ?
If they discontinued....DONT!I happen to have one.
Not sure if I would sell it though.
I'm figuring that mine is probably more a 4-4.5 oz rod, than the 5 oz plus bait I prefer to standardize on, so I might sell it and try and build a 5oz specific rod in around 13'6" from what I get for it - rod is as new and has seen very little action apart from casting on the field - tend to use my 11 and 12 ft rods all the time ???Cuban Cigar wrote:Most certainly, you have any leads?Looking for the 13'6" HMG Lite ?
BG 35 Done already!Jip, that 16A will cast the metal like a little robot now, since you had it magged and the BG 35 is even faster on the retrieve (48 vs 46inch per crank), so if you need to cast over a shallow reef to reach the sandbank, you will have no problem to get sinker and hook up onto the surface and over the reef for rebaiting !
Bet you will go same route with the BG 35 soon !
Will let you know if I find the right blank to build a 5 oz plus bait, dedicated substituteto my liking and I decide to pull the trigger - that is if friend Danie375 in Polokwane, does not cash in on his option !
Cheers !
The 40-100-430 is one of the blanks I'm considering, seeing that most anglers cast the SuperSlim rsnge, with 1oz up from std rating, when using compact/streamline baits for steenies.
Would not like to go longer than 13'6"-13'8" max, as the same weight sinker feel heavier and heavier, for every extra inch in rod length.
It feels as if I can load a rod best, when not over 13'8" and get better distance with them, than with 14footers.
Knowing you, you are going to rebuild the rod ?![]()
was thinking a straight LC guide system could be nice!
