Ok fellow Sealiners mows the time to go to confession.

What lies have you told to keep the truth about your favorite pastime from your wife/partner/boss.

I will start the ball rolling and clear my conscience . Recently Enigma sent me R950.00 worth of JB braid by courier and it was delivered while "Truely Beloverd" was at home............. I told her I won it on a Sealiners On Line Competition.

Who can do better than that. I am sure there are better stories out there. They don't even have to be about fishing???

I agree the thought of having to face "what do you need another rod for?" or "don't you have enough lures already!" or "that money could be better spent on......." makes the "porky pies" the more sensible option.

Just find a rod and reel that really works for you and then buy smaller and bigger rigs as needed. So all your rigs look the same. Women can't tell the difference between 9' or 11'::H::H::H we have bullsh!tted them for generations!!
