Poor service.....

Hi Gents,

i have been the victim of very poor service of lately.....( According to me)

I just had my 30th birthday and a couple of friends decided to "club" in on my pressie to buy me a certain "Jigging rod".

Great present from all my mates after i gave the specs to the wife,They got the wrong rod. ( No knowledge about any fishing in general)

Now, i admit this sounds a bit strange...... but bare with me.

I phoned the tackle shop after i got the invoice from one of my mates...( he supplies the invoice, " No worries mate, we know jack s**t about fishing. never mind jigging!!)

So i explain the following to the salesman: " Sir, i have received a pressie from a couple of mates for my 30th birthday! they bought me a MH "certain" rod and i already have a "certain" MH jigging rod. Can i please exchange the rod for a "Heavy model".

Obviously they will do their best to help me...........

Well well well, had to remind the " person in charge" twice already to find out from the suppliers if they have a "H" model in stock. That's after i gave my commitment to pay in the difference if any to exchange the rod.

Now. i can call the "Agents" for this particular brand directly. and will do it in a few days anyways. but i hope this specific owner of the tackle shop sees this thread. I think he already know because the salesperson directed me to him. He assured me he will find out for me and let me know.

Anyways, I cant see the sport off jigging and popping moving forward in the Northern-GP region with the service we are getting ATM.

i hope there is more committed suppliers in our region.

Hey Hubert,

Really sorry to hear you recieved some poor service....I hope the store in question gets its act together and gets it sorted out...

If you not happy about it, maybe reurn the rod for a refund, and give me a shout about getting a heavier Jigging rod, you know we've got all and any of your bases covered!

And on top of that, I always wanna try get as many people as possible exposed to top quality gear as possible.....

Thx Andre,

We are still in our infant stadium with regards to jigging.

Will do a couple of trips this year locally and then do something proper in the beginning of 2013.

Will def come and cry on you and roy's shoulders for some proper gear and advice cometh the time.
