in angola it is called a CORVINA and yes it is of cob family

Correct Kob, or Corvina....same specie, Kob has many brothers...that looks a little different, but has the basic Kob look. Corvina is the Portuguese name for Kob.

it's either Pseudotolithus senegallus or Pseudotolithus senegalensis (I think there is a lot of confusion and mis-identification between the two species)

I got some at Kwanza in 2011
