PEACOCK BASS / AMAZON

Hi Sealine Fisherman 

 

I own a ph outfit called huntersafricagroup.com and have been huting for a while now.

Anywqay have a american client who has a very large peacock bass outfit in the amazon and asked if i knew any guys would be interested etc. 

I will keep this basic as i know that these forums can get pretty heated, i have the sole distributorship / agency for this and will on esa in november and the mag in october 10 k later but am weary that this may not fly and need your opnions

if you would be kind enough to give them to me i would be grateful !!!!!

Quick question boet, are you punting this to get SA guys together to go to the Amazon to fish for Peacocks, or as a plan to introduce them here?!?! Sorry just a little confused as your Title says Peacock Bass right here in good old RS of A....

As much as I would love to fish for them here, we don't need anymore exotics!!

But I think you are meaning asa trip to the Amazon right?!?!?
Beautiful fish, and always been a dream of mine to fish for them... soon come!

NOOOO ! THE ONLY RELATIVE THAT I KNOW THAT WE HAVE HERE FROM THE AMAZON ARE IN FISH TANKS AND THOSE ARE ARAWANA AND OSCARS,

NEPTUNE I AM PLANNING TO START TAKING GUYS FROM HERE AS I ALREADY TAKE ABOUT 20 TO 30 GUYS A YEAR OUT OF THE STATES AND THE UK.

At the top of the thread i have put down some basic stuff and have the license to sell one of the biggest operations in the AMAZON he is hunting client of mine and owns the company.

Yes i am punting or starting at the begining of next month with a full page ad in ESA then getting seminars put together in jhb and durbs showing off the dvds and brochures etc and will start booking i hope middle of next month.

Best season obviously when the water is low so late november early december, would like to take a few guys from here and "git sum"
