Has anyone tried Platypus braid, my local tackle shop is going to get me a tester spool to try out this week..... i am not complaining if it is free!

I spooled my 8lb Fireline and used it for the first time this weekend and it's awesome. NO WIND KNOTS!!!!!! not even one.
Has anyone used Rovex braid? apparently it's made by Suffix. I have spooled some 20lb as backing. It looked good but when spooling it on it left a "powder the colour of the line" on the guides. The shop sell it per metre at 90c/mtr and it was the only brand of 20lb that they had. I didn't want to buy a spool as my reel took 180mtr plus the fireline and if I had bought a 300mtr spool of braid I would have been left with 120mtr of braid and nothing to do with it.

I haven't tried it but beleive it is great. It is 100% Australian if I am correct. I read about it in an Aussie Mag some time ago.
