Ryan, I think you must change your profile pic, because everytime I see your profile pic I am thinking about the barbel we caught on fly at Vaalkop.

No they were finished with the new block but we were still using casualties then and the childrens ward but yes it was a mess and a half then too, not so long ago though bout 5 years back was there in 2004

And the truth doth surface bout fishing “poliesmanne” and what not else, wanna get anything else of your heart

Okay when you launch from the boat club right across the club Spot No 1[/b] as I marked it was where we picked up most of the Cats there is a stand of submerged timber that the cormorants packed while gorging themselves fat on yellows, here we called them up on black leadheads and of all things “creepy crawly’s” aka crazy crawlers

The other spot is the small bay just on your right if you launch from the club and travel towards the inlet it’s the small bay on the right marked No 2[/b] Same methods work here when the timber floods the weavers make nests in the old flooded plantation (deeper is a good spot for rooting carp btw)

In the yellow circle No 3[/b] there are scattered stands of old flooded wattle that are also used by birds especially the fish eagles and the barbell hang here for the pieces that drop

Another spot is the inlet as you know and is good for a variety of fish yellows cats ect

Hope this works for you:wfish

But tooclarify things a bit right beneath the boat club is Spot No1 as i said, to the left of the club is Spot No 2 and the yellow circle is spot No 3 as mentioned above, the inlet you know

Btw how is it that we are discussing cats in the Yellow and Tiger Forum

Anyway hope you can latch on to a good sized fish

Here Kitty Kitty[/i]

This I see is the Tiger and Yellow Forum and my reply would have nothing to do with either of the two species ( Thanks Ryan and The Rest of the Moderating crew for indulging us especially me, but I am moving my reply to the artlure section) so in keeping with the rules of this forum I am going to post a link in reply to your last post here where you and others can read my reply to this last thread as it is specially for catching cats and those yellows and tigers are already “toyi toying” as the Mr Whiskers have overrun their place here

Hope this info works for you

Regards
