No it was on private waters on part of heyshope dam..... Ja well continue to live a lie.............
I use lures no bait needed...........
I have fun with my mates concerning yellows seeing that we have plenty here and they'd like to catch them where as i'm after the barbel they have.........

Maybe if he actually spent more time out of the office he would actually catch fish he can prove he caught not just with a photo in a net even I can take a claim my partners catch that way.
Btw (Deon that means "by the way") the poor fish looked sick in that net it must of been swimming on its side when you lifted it into the net.
At least he has a human streak to want to help it out of its suffering

It is sad to see how people leave these dams.......You should see some of the other smaller public dams.... Its pathetic....

We where fishing right in the inlet of Heyshope, but that is private waters.........

Deon we used to drive through there often while going South to Kozi, Sordies and St Lucia during holidays and fished, fished Grootdraai, Zaaihoek, Heyshope there close to you guys with my father and his great uncle Prof B as we had family in Volksrust.
At varsity I dated a guy from Ermelo, we fished Morgenstond, Jericho and Westoe quite often as in that time my folks moved to the Western Cape while I studied in Pta, it was too far to go home every holyday. Then did my Zuma medical year in Piet Retief and fished a lot with a cop there who knows the area very well.
Here kity - kity that’s a velly velly nice cat you have there Deon, you do know they can’t bite you eh so you can hold it closer to you it actually makes you look smaller than I have come to believe you supposedly are
some info on it would be appropriate too is it from one of your local haunts that side
And if I’m correct the main inlet to Heyshope is privately owned but there is a smaller inlet if you pass the island on the right and carry on up that branch of the dam, just don’t know how far up against the dam that township has expanded
