okay ever since im on this forum i have read about cetain seasons for certain fish,

im only allowed to have 5 blood worm, today i read you only suppose to have 50 prawn klip/sand...

im really new to fishing and where can i go read up on the do's and dont's before i get a luvly visit from the inspectors one day, and i dont think they will believe me if i say but im only fishing for 2 weeks....:?

dubsketeer,

you can go to the marine and coastal managements website, where it'll explain all the bag limits and the restricted areas (for fishing). It doesnt however say where it is ok to pump for bait. this you can find in the other topics on this site under sand prawn and bloodworm.

as far as i know the only restricted area for pumping prawns is from strand to gordon's bay. if you need to pump in that area you need to go to rooi els and pump the banks that lie next to the coast road...
