Yes they do. I bought my dad a pair of Senior Magnums a month ago(his was "misplaced") They sell for around R170-00 a piece.

Mias Angling has the best variety of colors I could find.

It is actually 1 piece rods. But I only use them when I go with my dad. He has a bakie and then it isn't really a problem. When I go alone (in my car) I use a set of 12ft rods that I have with my suction cup rod carriers. Problem is that the 12ft rods are actually saltwater rods. I am looking at buying a set of shorter rods for fresh water.

Thanks. I will definitely look into them. There are just so many different things on the market these days that I am not always sure that what I am buying is quality and not just a gimmick. Thanks for the advise though. I am going to Mias this weekend to get some more tackle so I will have a look at them.

This is another option for dropping off action lures in hard to reach places ........

I personally fish mostly in rivers and I can actually cast quite a distance accurately. The cost of these bait boats are excessive. Great vid though. I would get one of these for the fun factor, never mind fishing.

LOL thats not seriously a baitboat! Is it????
More of a Lure boat than a bait boat I suppose.  There are some spots that are not accessible by boat, and are sometimes up to 300m away.  When fishing these spots with a crankbait for bass you need speed, because you are dropping and retrieving all the time.  So you can get to your spot at quite a good pace, drop the lure next to the structure/wall etc. then get the ‘Lure Boat’ back to the boat in a blink of an eye.  This is the fastest electric boat on the market to date, using brushless technology.  It used to do over 55kph standard, but now I have improved on the batteries and run a slightly higher pitch brass racing prop as opposed to a plastic one, now she really goes FAST!

The pipe you see at the back is for the cooling system.  The electric motor and the speed control has a 'water jacket' around it for cooling.

I googled it a bit last night and saw that you can buy it from some hobby shops for R2600 all you need is 2 3600mah batteries.

Anything over 300m you need binoculars, because you don't know which way it is turning. But when there's no fish biting I have spare batteries and an on board charger - Then I just have fun with it ... nearly as much fun as fishing/catching.

Yeah, based on the videos I saw last night. I wouldn't care to just play with this toy next to the vaal river. This boat is like a small time rocket and appears to be a sh!t load of fun.

I have some of the wildest wipeouts at over 60kph, and other than tearing the bouyancy loose inside - no damage. It might have a plastic top deck, but the hull is some type of fancy composite material. Really well made. Do a search for a price on a replacement motor though!!! Eina!!
