No GOOGLE Earth Placemarks - PE

How about the PE guys doing google earth placemarks for the PE area. A few requests have been made as to where the fishing spots in PE are. This would also be a great help to me.

Same here, I'm a regular visitor to the J/Bay - Cape St Francis area and would appreciate fishing spots for that area

The Cape St Francis area is available under the forum Google Earh Placemarks. I know as I made full use of it in late May 2009 . Just to the right of Cracker Hole I caught good size elf in no time. Their were hundreds in the area . I soon realised that I was casting over the fish. Also saw a few monster fish amongst them unfortunately I could not identify them. My brother in law who has a cottage in the area couldn't believe it.

I have shared on sealine, more than I should have !

see last year I posted EXACT spots to locate elf (shad){off the boat}, I used to on a average day catch 60-70 of them, went back a few months later, guess how many shad I caught in 3 trips ... NOT ONE !

The biggest problem with giving exact locations, it's not just sealine members that see them, anybody can google and then get these "productive locations", and will then not hesitate to go there and WIPE THEM OUT.

an EXACT location on the internet from me again ... NEVER.

I here what you saying Neil.

Someone else on this site said the same thing to me just after I joined. He would give a location and in a few weeks its cleared out.

How about using PM if you know the guy............... then again if you know him you fish with him so its not needed.:fbash

I couldn't agree more with Neil . Especially as certain fish are resident only in certain areas and spend almost their entire lifespan in a specific area.

My intention for making this request was just for a general overview of the main fishing spots in the area . Someone visiting PE would generally have no idea of where to fish and also perhaps where it is not so safe. After all we are also known as the friendly city.

Often reference is made to Blougat, The Beacon , The Anchor and so forth . Reference should maybe only be made to the common areas so that we can also through trial and error find our own secret spots.
