And there you have it LGF...
These little jobbies need to be played with extensively before one learns how they work... different retrieves, speeds, water colours etc etc Starting with 1/8 oz jigheads up to 1/2 oz jigheads... Different strokes for different folks...
Thats what makes Dropshot fishing really interesting, 'cos its all about imagination... and the kids love it too...
One thing though that I'm not happy with in your setup... the 8' rod is too big bru. 6 and 7' are the way to go. 8' is bordering on "light tackle" whereas 6 and 7 are def ultra light??? Any way you can change it?
Oh and one LAST thing... it's actually so cool to talk
fishing with you!

1st THanx a Kazillion man, yopu helped me something serious.
2nd "Thats what makes Dropshot fishing really interesting, 'cos its all about imagination... and the kids love it too..." Why do you think I'm Bass :uzi
3rd "One thing though that I'm not happy with in your setup... " I do have a 7" M/H spinning rod Quantum PT Tour Edition, and was considering taking that but then saw the passion stick post and bought that..... so I'll be taking both then.
4th "..... actually so cool to talk
fishing with you" What kind? What you mean? I've only been talkin fishin, it's you that gave me flack about "Happy Hunting Those LGF's"

Nah, true its nice to be talkin sum fishin with ya, which reminds me, that dvd you's were on about is it the same kinda video (instructions wise) like the Bass Africa Series (5 box dvd set) ? Reason for me asking is I know and experiment with most if not all the bass rigs, but I know from experience that the dam with the continuous big waves and seemingly blue water is a completely different thing, so the rigs for these various baits should differ to that of the bass ones. Now does this dvd show you how to rig these baits.
And then lastly, thanks for sending me off to the tackle shops again, now after I've bought these lures (at the least these, probably an entire new lures selection for saltwater/dropshot, knowing myself) I'm sure to have more lures than Loams..
Oh and just for old time sake
HAPPY HUNTING THOSE LGF's
