A friend of mine, Peter Brink, once went with my Dad and me to our pad at Blombos. Peter hooked this massive "thing" at Ram se kraal se hoek, thought to be a skate. After a long fight he landed a folding deck chair :doh that must have gone astray somewhere. (Couldn't have been from a Chinese trawler as they would have eaten it before escaping overboard.......LOL...) There and then it was called a "SITVIS". Looking at your pic I think that your boat qualifies for that "SitVis" title.
Dont name it right away fish with it a couple of times and a name will come up by itself! Usually these names are like a nickname given and also nearly always fits.
Friend of mine bought a small rubber duck and named it Tiny Tanic, but after first trip at sea with bad weather changed it to Tiny Panic.
Sorry, i meant to include this in the previous post. When I bought my boat, I said my wife could name her. (to keep the peace). ended up calling it after one of our cats but at least the boat sleeps under a carport now..
