agree - bulls inn. speak to Marian or Cameron. We go there every year. We always managed good fish, edibles or sharks

Thanks guys, we booked with Camaron at bulls inn. Any pointers on where to fish? Is the river any good? Will only be targeting eds.

Not much chance in the river. There are some great spots ...... both sides of Mpame Point, Sharplys, Mpolompo Point and there are many others too ........ big shad, cob, blacktail, silvers, steenbras and the occasional Poenskop. Cameron will point you in the right direction. If you charter his boat for a few hours your chances of catching some very decent fish will improve. Great fishing spot !!!

Nyembe's to the left of Mpame point can produce very good kob on bait. We mostly dropshot when we go there and theres always a Kob to be had. Mpame point if theres sand, kob corridor at shelly beach and any of the deepwater points like Amanzinyama, Ndizene and patenkale are all very good for kob, shad and odd Garrick.

My favourite spot for kob on plastic is amazinyama, the walk however is another story..

enjoy

Thanks Darren I'll diffinately try my luck on dropshot! Apparently you can target river snapper in the river? I would love to target them(if possible). I've never caught one before.

you could, but I reckon you would need a kayak. We have fished that river quite abit in the past. had some success river bream, leeries and odd kingie even with small live mullets. also caught some decent spotties. Some of the older guys reckon one of the main reasons the river is not as productive as it should be is the amount of shale/rock on the bottom, that said we have done ok in the past.
