Sealine is the best fishing site in the world with some of the best sharing guys. What lies between the lines is one thing, but meeting and fishing with some many over the years has been the BEST!
I have made some great friends here and the best part is that they all share a passion for angling!
For those that take life all to serious just learn how to use the 'ignore' button and Sealine becomes a even greater place.
A great thanks goes to Emps and all the admin team who make the changes behind the forum...these are the guys who make it happen!

well , I'd be around R28 000 Richer if i Wasn't a Member on sealine , andthat's not Even to Mention the bandwidth I've Consumed , both On My phone , at work , and just about any Place I could Manage to log on ..
Ialso Wouldn't have met so Many good people all around the country ,something i can never get tired of .
3 birthday bashes , 2 of em in The transkei , a burglary , a trip to St francis point just so that i Could Meet Enigma( i shan't forget That trip There and back as Long as i Live !) when i specifically tuned the wife how to drive to Gerickes point if she wanted to "join "me , kite fishing , selling cars to Sealine Members , trading stories , telling stories ,being part of stories, laughing til i cough at work At some of the replies .
Then there are the trips .Ah , the trips ...So Many , with so many pics , that'i've had to buy a separate Drive to store all my Nokia-derived images , from saldanha , St helena bay , right all the way up to Friggin Blythedale - Who'd've thought Though ?? The Report trips ,None Of Them Would've been possible , none of Them would be as motivated , and so Many , if i'd not gone looking for some tips On how to cure My son's foot after he stood on an identified"-on-sealine" White sea barbel ...
From there , the rest is history .
I went from a sealine 50H(aptly named) and a 13ft purglass bought in 1991 , to a Tackle Store in My garage .And every Month as it got worse , so did my buying spree.Saltiga ,Tiagra, saltist ,Sl(s), trini , torium , pro Caster , loomis , assassin , Hmg rods, seagrand - I've now officially told Myself come hell or high water I aint goin nowehre near another Tackle store unless i absolutely have to .
And for one Thing- The Shoot might be hitting the fasn at work - all i Need to do , is click on öpen in new window", and hit the recent button - from there - My boss's voice goes into silent Mode , like flipping An n8 Face down on the desk , or hitting the mute button .....
Magic .
Learnt so Much , my fishing and probably my frikkin fitness Level , have improved dramatically (that Kraanse report almost killed Me.. ), and -so has My insurance on my CELLHONES !!!!!!! I've Lost 7 Phones trying to complete New reports , take pics , and Generally have a Camera at the Ready for a magic moment somewhere . One Need look no further than Umthatha river mouth , on google Earth , to understand what i Mean about pics with mates ..
Unlike Others , such as Trophy Neil g , Etc , I only started seriously around 2009 .
from then , until now - if you knew me before Sealine , you'dvé caught Me ramping a table top on My quad . Saturday i had people around to view the quaDS -alone- while i fished a League .
Managed The south cape b side to Natal this year , drove allthe Way up there just to Meet jakkal and Crackerjack , and Preggy govender , and next year I'm joining them again for nationals In port elizabeth , in 2012 .And then there's emps . went from a Stranger , to a Friend at the first bash i attended ( Couldn't believe i did that - a BLAST !!!!! eh Psy ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!! Lol Hell yea )in 2009 .
11 rods ,7 Reels , 2000 hooks , 100m Of 200lb Carbon-coated, All of Ray's Dvd's , 11000 km , 14 Reports ,200 New Friends , 7(!) cellphones ,blood sweat Tears n skin , 4 Pb's ,2 good fish ,2 National Events , some trully Magic Moments on some EPICCCCCCCCCC Trips .

I spend this weekend with about 25-30 people that i have never seen before i met sealine and man what a great group of people fishing was'nt that great but the time spend is priceless. Since iam on sealine there is even some tackle shops that greet me on my username when walking in. Learnt alot from all the members on this site thank u admin for a great site and thank u ssec-wc for a flippen awesome weekend my body is acking from all the laughing.

Sealine... Where to start?
Firstly to Emps for creating a site that to me has become a Fishing Encyclopedia and Library of note... I can't begin to expalin/describe how much I've learn't...
Secondly to all the guys that take the time to post, share and educate. The knowledge gleened from you has helped/assisted/inspired me incredibly... Thanks guys!!!
And finally to all the folks I've met, chatted to and fished with, you are a credit to Sealine. It's amazing how many times I'd be fishing somewhere and the next thing you know half the guys are on Sealine already... lol.
Sealine has become a ritual for me, I diligently 'boot-up' in the morning, get Outlook going and immediately it's a click on 'recent' and so the day begins. Besides that, if you take the time to search there's a treasure trove of ancient information which makes for great reading, previous posts by some incredible guys, past and present...
Sealine has become an institution... I'm very proud to be a member of such a brilliant site with a bunch of guys who are seriously passionate about fishing.

Posted a request for a donation of a old rod as I broke my 14ft rod and could not afford to get a new one,not expecting much,but I was given a L&F Shockwave with extra heavy tip,in excellent condition from Roland,thanx again,you will be blessed
