Hi guys.

I grew up in a family of fishermen and so lots of tanks. I have not had one for many years. And so decied to start one up. My dad started building it about 3 months ago in his spare time. Its finally done with the buliding process. Just interested to see who all has tanks and what styles you guys have and different looks. Post pics of your tanks so we can all see and maybe get ideas.

Got afew small pieces of live rock in aswell. And some fish, not sure what it is. It looks like some kind of damsel. My dad caught it in the Tkei, it had also of pretty colors when it was small. If anyone knows what its called let me know. I know the pic is not the best though.

Hi Flippy

The enitial starting up from scratch can cost abit. Once its running its not really costly. If you don't have live rock and coral its not to much work either.

flippy, u can get a 25lt bucket of salt for around 300 and then u can either use tap water or RO water ...

i have used both types of water and have kept corals and fish successfully ... it all depends on ur preference
