He's been toying with the idea of modifying his 2 special rods and eventually shipped it to Pretoria and now it's ready for the next EP Raggies RASSPL

First a string of pics and I'd like you to ID the rod. I m liking this blank more and more and is probably an HMG that I'd buy off the shelf

From the tip to the back

3 piece slim HMG

Fitted with Pac Bat TiNic Guides #16 with # 16 tip

Short X Flock shrink grips either side of top joint to help taking apart

Removed the old worn reel seat. New rear assembly, cleaned and shaped from EVA and covered all EVA with X Flock

Wow, that marbling on the guides look awesome! Not the easiest place to do it. I like how you always inovate new ideas like the xflock at the joints.

It is done before the guide is placed and binding is done. There is a video on Youtube showing how to do it. Very good!

It adds a lot to the finish of the rod! Brilliant!
