Just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone, I had a fantastic time. Great to finally meet all the faces behind the knowledgable posts.
Reefman, thanks for the organisation, a truely memorable day. Love that Saltist 30H btw, casts like a beauty; definately next on my list.
I was amanzed by the casting, you guys certainly know what you're doing, esp. Sipho, you got that pendulum sorted man!
John, I was very impressed by your casting with a multiplier,esp seeing as it was your first time.
All in all, a wonderful/educational experience was had, thanks again guys. What a great forum to belong to!

sowy i got there so late, but never the less
atleast i got to meet afew guys,
was good putting a face to the guys that where there
sheez i learnt so much in such a short space of time

Hallo to all big and small
What a great day again. Reefman has said it all.
Thanks to the Emp. and Jonah and all the guys that came from far.All the new faces, what a pleasure meeting you guys.
Kumz-buddy what an excellent patent on the H-frame ( be sure I am going to copy that.
Emperor- Thank you for the opportunity to cast with that "Rolls Royce" of a reel. ( loaded with braid on the 6th cast reached 120m ). Very very smooth action.
GL- all the best and success on your trip.

Now here is something I would really like to mention. We have a young man with us in Sealine by the name of Marcelle ( son of AndriesH ) who I met on the previous social. This young man also then only started casting with a multiplier.I am proud to say that this weekend he kept pushing the sinker past the 100M mark.Should his fishing skills develop as his casting skills this young man could go a long way in the fishing frat.WELL DONE keep it up.
To all those not mentioned thank you again.

If there is a purpose and a function to Sealine, we are the living proof.
In six months we have developed from 60 - 70m casters to where we are now. (New PB 134m - line counter)
And who do we thank - guys and Girls like you - nobody else.
I am no teacher or coach, but if anybody can learn from me by observing, you are welcome. Marcelle has suddenly developed a huge interest in this distance casting thing, so we will be practicing a whole lot more.

make me go
.I mean fishing for 23 years and thought I saw it all until I saw sipho hit a CAST and watch guys let alone fishing with braid but casting 120m with braid and the list goes on and on....Guys thanx for a great "hook up" once again Reefman and all guys’ involved big respect and appreciation goes out to you for arranging the meeting.
Guys that came up from dbn leaving behind there family and kids it shows dedication and devotion towards sealine and sealine members, we do appreciate it.

From a fishing perspective, i have definitely gained some confidence in attempting the multiplier - although i chickened out at the social - was too afraid to be messing up the ferrari's that were offered to me for a test run!!!
i didn't see any fly gear at the social - are you guys trying to say something?
All in all, was a most enjoyable day out...... when are we doing this again? Are we going to perhaps have bi monthly meetings?
