just spoke to one of my commercial buddies, snoek is still at the point towards the old snoek grounds today, he is still out and has 10 to 20 a man so far and still catching a few

Old Snoek grounds is right accross from the lighthouse.  Look for a 40m reef on your fish finder.  I would guess about 400m off the point towards Simon's Town

very good fish still at the point, last day the guys got out was Friday, in the winbd they caught 40 to 50 a man on the old snoek grounds, the day before that boats had up to 150 a man on Rocky bank (small fish) and 50's a man on the old snoek grounds (big fish)

Snoek at Yzerfontein too, my one commercial buddy had 120 fish there on Friday.

Snoek baie swak die naweek. Baie tekens en baitvis in die kalkoonde, kon net 3 snoek vang. En die kreef het ook moeilik geklim in die yskoue water. Hoop die snoek is daar komende naweek v d Classic.

I'm desperate to find some snoek around Cape Point from Thursday onwards... any reports around Cape Point? maybe even a tail or two?

I'll be launching from Houtbay Thursday. Taking some friends to catch some crays and then I'll try and find snoek off Slangkop. Fishing hasn't been good. Maybe if there are some reports of Snoek at Cape Point and the weather isn't too bad, I'll push around from Houtbay.

One thing is for sure. With 4 guys on the sea for their first time on Thursday, we'll be having a lot of laugther, tears and 'chumming'!

the last time the guys got out last week the snoek were dik, so almost certain there will be fish biting inside or outside the bay when the wind drops!

Launching tomorrow morning very early from Three Anchor Bay. Going to have a look at Robben. You never know your luck in a China shop. Have not been on the water for six weeks, itching to get out there.

Arrived at Three Anchor Bay at 05h00, with the South Easter pumping. Windfinder got it very wrong this time. Decided to save our bait and fuel for another day...

Also decided another day might be a better option. I was really looking forward to my mates chunking on their first trip.
