morning all.
I am battling to tie my leader (.65) to my main line without it breaking at the knot. The main line is .24. I dont want to use a swivel because I feel it doesnt let you present nutuarly. Any ides out there?
Albright or GT knot would be your best bet with two different thicknesses of line.... I'd suggest creating a double line in your braid with a bimini twist too....
All knots shown in the KNOTS thread...
Thanx all, have found a very nice glue at our local flyfishing shop, called Knot sence, it stays liquide untill you expose it to uv light (sun light ) then it sets, but has elastic properties. Tested it in a vice, the braid snapped and the knot stayed good!
LGF - Boet, its not that hard, seriously... bu7t much easier if someone shows you....
You don't have to have one, but once you learn it, its pretty easy ... don't be a knot-o-phobe bru, get in there and do it!

Neps, Eish man I can't do that bemini twisting thingy, perhaps one day I should stay at home and try it, till i get it right, or pay the Reefer sum serious money to teach me.......
Hope he doesn't read this, caused then my wallet is going to look like it's been on some self inflicked starvation crusade...... for years already.
