HI All,

So i'm heading out to Klipkrans this weekend. Have been a few times but seem like the small barbel are more interested in my ground feed and Boilies than the Carp.

Anyone been there recently and what flavors worked for you.

On a side note with all the Barbel i thought i would throw an extra line out this weekend just for them in the hopes of decent size. Other than Carp head and Chicken livers any other recommendations on Bait for the larger Cats (Sardines?).

I see a couple guys fishing the reeds and i assume this is for Black Bass but i have never seen any there before. Anyone had luck with Bass there.

Will be staying on Campsite 5 if that assists anyone with giving me answers.

I have been there before, but not recently.

Take the full setup and see what works, site 5 is a great spot.

For the big cats a whole carp head has always worked best for me.

If you are lucky you might get a croc, I see the Swamp People in the Sates catch them on chicken pieces!
