Kingfisher Poseidon Popping rods

Has anyone used any of these rods. The PE5-9 in particular. Have had a look at them and they look good and are reasonably priced. Any comments or feedback would be appreciated

I used the Poseidon offshore plugging rod 7' (3-5oz) for a weeks popping in the Seychelles and was quite happy with the performance.. Combined it with a Saragosa 18 000 witg 80lb braid. Not the lightest or best rod on the market but its good value for money.

I can atest to that rods strength, 2 weeks back off inhaca we put the rod on the t-top with a popper as a trolling lure ,trying to get the attention of some dollys it definetely did its job but instead of a dolly we got a striped Marlin. My bud fought the fish on that Kingfisher Poseidon popper rod with a Sustain 14000 for 40 minutes.  So I would definitely go with it.

Where were you in Seychelles, I was there last year and had lots of fun fishing the flats on mahe. We are going back in june and am looking for some pointers, we want to go out to sea but the charters are crazy expensive, heard you can tag along with the locals on their dingies for a lot less. have you heard of this type of fishing and any advise for fishing around Mahe?

iv got the rod in question, only had one opportunity to use it so far and found it a bit heavy, but then again its nothing compared to popping a cubera 180
