Went this weekend to Mias in Randburg and bought some Berkley Camo worms. R 135.00 for packet of ten. R 350 for a tub. Took the packet. From there went to Fishing Pro Shop in Lynnwood, Pretoria. Same packet R 89.00. Same tub normal price is R 199.00. On special for R 99.00. Wow from R 350.00 down to R 99.00. Bought 2 tubs! And its not only the Camo worms on special, crabs etc as well.

Yip, its crazy how prices differ. Was looking for a Shimano 8ft 3oz Vengeanze. Found one in a fishing shop close to my work for R 429.00 and bought it. Saw one yesterday also at Pro Shop (although the 2 oz) for R 379.00. R 50 bucks cheaper. Mias was close of R 600 for same rod.

I dont know why people use Mia's they are vastly overpriced, have a bad attitude and behave as if they are doing you a favour when you ask them anything. I no longer even go to their shop ther are loads of fishing shops around that will be happy to have your bussiness. If we all did this they would have to re look at their prices and attitude.

It was the first time in many years that I went there. The last time were still in the old premises. Wow, what a tackle shop, everything that you can dream of and more, but, and this is a big but, based on my experience I will not shop there again.

Geeeeees! Okay from R 135.00 to R 45.00. That's 66% less - this is getting ridiculous. Is there anyone out there that can beat Ryan's price???
