Call me a cynic but I'm not sure about this... In principle the idea sounds really good, and as has been pointed out, the "wiggle" action, if it could be achieved would be incredible.....
My problems/queries would be:
1 - As Nicos pointed out, would the Assist hook on the jig itself more than on a normal jig ?
2 - Just how much action would it actually achieve as its weighted? I love jointed rapala/plugs lures as they have increible action, but they are light and achieve great movement... would this be achieved on a Jig made of lead?
Bennie - If you get one in, I'd be dead keen to see what the action is like, cause if it works like it "should" would be great I reckon..

You may need to get some extra string for your reel; by the time that thing is done zig zagging to the bottom you will be all out!
