Mark - We were going by the info supplied to us in a mail from the angler Gary Shungking, in a mail sent to us on Thursday, requesting info on the JSR rods as he had used the rod with Dave, and loved it, was blown away by it, and wants to purchase one....

Apologies if anyone feels the info was misrepresented, but we published what we were supplied, by the angler...

A superb fish, and a beast on a jigging rod...anyway you look at it.

This is very confusing - so what did the fish weigh ?

Hey Bruce.

I Chatted to Gary, he called when he saw this post, and was pretty pi$$ed off that someone was calloing him a liar...

He confirmed the fish weighed 90 kilos.....

But, some confusion in when it was caught.... it was caught last year, not recently, as TW stated.... Gary apologised for misleading us in his mail...

But the fish was weighed, at 90 kilos....

Nice fish any way sure beats the one we caught on Protea Banks,  15 kg on light tackle Shimano Airocast 9’, Stella 5000 with 14 lb fire line,  fitted to the end with Purple Onde Onda, this is fun.

FANTASTIC  fish  - good job on that light tackle. Well done that man !

I am sure Royboy having got a truck load of fish last week and probably asleep in some airport somewhere  wont mind us hijacking his thread - least theres some movement on this VERY quiet jigging section.

So, the PURPLE ONDE ONDA does it again. I have some on their way to me and am very excited - never used this lure but I am told you havent fished till you used an Onde ?
