I reckon that if no rehabilitation has been going on, there are no plans for it,or at least not in terms of opening it up to the public. Its sad yes, the place just sits there with all that potential, for fishing, but also as an opportunity to generate income and a few jobs for the local economy. Im not sure if the local ANC government there wants to punk people or if they have plans for development for the elite, as I assume it is state owned land. Same thing at Jim Fouche, all that potential and the place just sits there deteriorating. I've actually written to the local municipality there, trying to find out what the reasons are for keeping such resources so unproductive, but didn't get any response. If they have plans to develop these areas for their elite, why don't they go ahead and do it, or lease the land to someone who can make it productive, it just doesn't make sense.
