Thanks Bennie, unfortunately the Yeld did not have T&T motors and although these are small boats I do prefer T&T motors, so it looks as if it will be the Z Craft F16, going for water test this weekend.

I just received my quote from Tyron at Z-Craft for building my 2406..should be ready by October. Can't wait for this, I had a Yeld 19.6 and it is a super boat, but the King Cat can be custom-built to exact client spec's... taking into account the quirks and likes of all offshore fishermen can be a headache, but it appears the Z-Craft staff can handle these issues.
Besides, Yeld has a three year lead time on new boats...

the three year wait is over at yeld, pay your money and you will have a boat in 3 months but they dont build a boat in the 24foot size range

Great to hear from you Rory,

I am really glad the waiting period is over at Monzi..

And I have fished off a Yeld that was an once-off build for Regardt from Leatherback's in Sodwana Bay resort.. It is called Magnum. And it is 23/24 ft.

Pity they never went commercial with producing this size, it is a magic boat, skippered by the owner's son, Richard. It has been used for their charter company, Sodwana Bay Charters.
Nevertheless, I am extremely exited about my boat, she will be called The Morgan Lee, after my lastborn.
Everyting custom built, on a forward launch setup.

Saved and scrimped for a looong time..

Hi guys please could you help me im looking at up grading to the f200 with yam 100hp what would be your take on this model in the range and are these the best motors as i would like to fit the most reliable and fuel efficient motors secondly are these motors correct size or would you go to 115hp . thanks in advance

 my F200 has 115 etec two stroke and she flies, The 100 four strokes in my opionion are not enough if you 4 or 5 on the boat would rather have 115s for sure im saving to replace my motors and going to fit the new 130 yammies. A lot of people fit the suzi140s and they are great as they weigh the same as the 115. if you fit the hard top fit the bigger motors for sure

Hi Gents, I'm looking for an older verison Z-Craft invader 220. See attached image, example of the boat. Z-craft made only a handful of these boats,  If you know of any available please let me know. Mobile 083 412 7700

My "new" Ride. Kingcat 226 with 2x 140 HP Suzukies. Boat has a super soft ride but it is quite big for beach launching compared to my previous Orion Cat 15.6.

z craft has been sold early this year
tyron and family are still running the boat business until further notice

the new company first bought off kawasaki fast motor sport r bay -dustins shop

and now bought off z craft - tyrons shop

i just know they are a very wealthy indian company


my 2 cents info ...over head a convo from a friend of a friend in the boat club

Don't know who but from what I understand they wanted the Yamaha agency. Which I believe there is issues because someone else has it now.

Don't know full details but from the sound of things, Bassa heard the same as me... But its all hearsay cant confirm it. I do hope they have a passion for boats and can breath some new life into the Z-Craft brand. I still think Z-Craft King Cat is still one of the best riding hulls. Moulds a bit old now though.

I have only been on the older Cougar 180 and I can tell you it's a better ride than the equivalent Seacat 565 (which I have owned for 2 years). The F200 must be magic ... one day when I'm big.
