Caught some Shad as well, but my one friend has had alot of sucess with it in Summer, getting Kingies up to 12kgs on it.I checked Barry Wareham also had immense sucess with it on Off the chart adventures, catching,Kingies and Barracouta with it.Attending one of his clinics,he reckons its best to start throwing spoon in the dark 30mins or so before sunrise into the early mornings and in the evenings until 30mins or so into the Dark.Just stick to brighter colours on lighter conditions and the dark colours in obviously darker condition.

Roland, were you spinning at the pier at Walskipper or Kabeljous? Well done on your first with the Candy!
