It would also be a shame to ruin such an incredible rod like the Smith AMJ 52EX by trying to convert it to overhead, and getting it wrong....
If you are confident in your builder, that he can get it right, then by all means go ahead, but for me personally, I don't know anyone in this country who has the experience or knowledge of jigging rod blank design and construction, to do it justice.... thats not knocking our SA builders, I just don't think anyone to my knowledge has the experience that I would want from someone to do the conversion...
