Im not too sure if this has been mentioned before, if so let me know.

What about us organising some sort of way to recognise the Sealine members when we out there doing what we do best. Maybe such as a bumper sticker, tackle/bait box sticker or even(I like this one) getting some sort of jacket or windbreaker made displaying the Sealine name and the province.

If its a kak idea, let me know.

Just a thought.....

i'm a new member and think its a good idea especially for us social anglers and to show those club guys who like to show off their colors

Howzit guys  Absolute blast of an idea.  besides the exposure, it also creates a sense of comraderie amongst members and it will entice other anglers to align themselves to Sealine. All for the idea!!!

ps. i know a mate who has an embroidery business who can get the jackets done. can discuss cost if confirmed.

I agree, sometimes you could be fishing next to a guy and not know that he\she is a sealine member. On the site you could be best buddies and not know diddly squat... Jacket will be cool as well as a bumper sticker so if the spots are tight on days  and u see a sealine bumper sticker i'm sure the guys\girls won't mind you squeezing your fat ass in::H

Hi guys

I know at one stage there were bumper stickers...dont know if they are still around..maybe someone from Admin can take that.

I think with the Two Oceans and the offer of Tee Shirts--will go somewherei to increase the awareness of the Community.

Hey Jonah,

There was some discussion a few months ago about sourcing some good quality jackets with the sealine logo, Was there any progress.

If there hasnt been any progress lets make something happen. Surely, with so many members from all around the country, some body has to know a tailor/seamstress and/or a embroiderer. Im relly keen to get this off the ground. I think it will do the community good.

If you're talking Jackets, I can suggest something like the one I bought from Kingfisher (Dark blue). It's a Highland Brook. Polar Fleece, removable sleeves, stand-up collar and only weighs 240grams, but is very warm and comfortable. Probably the best fit jacket I have ever tried! The top zip pocket is perfect for the cell-phone!

Found a gift-site that sells them and embroiders logos. http://www.batsumigifts.co.za/site/Catalogue/moreDetails.pl?frmId=8309&frmCatid=1&frmSubid=8

Hey guys i'm all for the idea and i dont mind coughing up some hard earned cash for a jacket or t-shirt, i would prefer a thin wind-breaker though cos, its hardly ever that cold in KZN, to warrant a polar fleece jacket and we want maximum exposure, and most of the time my thick jacket is next to my bag, so a good quality T-shirt and a thin jacket/ full tracksiut would be the way to go, or even stickers for our cooler boxes will be great.... Or if we can get Sealine personalised Safari Coolers that would be great... What do u guys think???

I agree with Mel, last thing iwanna do is get it wet :( why not stick with getting the standard type "splash jackets" emroidered etc that all the clubs issue? that way we will wear them at least ??

If I wear the jacket tha MJ suggested for fishing, then I will have to put up with some serious nagging from the wife.

Mike's splash Jacket idea will be perfect.
