very clever... gonna remember that one...

I'm a new subscriber to Sealine and don't know if this topic was discussed before? I read a few comments about Daiwa vs Shimano and found that it's a real hottie to start. That's why I don't want a 'gatmaak' competition with my curiosity question. So here it comes - Did these guys who claim a cast of 140m, measured it? Think of a 100m on the athletic trac and add another approximate half of it to it, or the same with a rugby field from goal line to goal line. I'm not talking about the competition casters? That is another game with its own rules?

We have guys in our team throwing with a Assasin Blade HMG, Trini 30 and 0.47mm line - 197m. This was not special casting equipment - regular R&S tackle which is why I mentioned what was used.
This was not measured but calculated with a range finder which is even more accurate.
Well done Stroker - you are a legend!
PS: My PB is 193m - but I am now only able to reach 160 - 170m, I have been living in GP too long now so I am out of practice.
one day......
currently i am getting 150m+ with Pentagon heavy hmg + torium30 on 0.55 line and 1mm leader with 9oz sinker....
but still practicing....
thanks misguide!
this might be a stupid question, but is there a big difference between the trini and tor regarding casting?
