All the fish were caught on the 9th of June.... As in 2 weeks ago...
This Rock is very close to the spot that I mentioned one of my first posts..
I know the pics look old its just me using my camera to take photos off my computer as the uploaded originals exceeded the 2000000 bytes.

I have in the summer months caught small Kob of between 2 and 6 kgs as well as Elf of between 1 and 4kg off these Rocks... This is one of the few spots, well at least next to it is one of the few spots that produce when the sea's on its head..
I actually used white mussel as bait, and caught a Red Crab in one of the rock pools and used that as bait too..
I threw the Red Crab to the right into a gully and got smashed by something that ran me off on the rocks after taking me through the Kelp, probably a Cracker..
Both my brother and I lost a few Bigger fish during the day as there's a reef that you have to lift the fish over after you've hooked them that the fish run you off on or fray the line so that you lose them when they are almost at your feet !! Next time my leader line is gonna be snoek line!!

Seems like the mythbusters busted the myth about Hermanus?

I would say soon to be a good reputation!!!!

Thought I was wasting my time on the Hermanus Plaat till this baby took...
Almost lost him with a kak hook "the hook almost straightened".....
Very Old bloodworm and a white mussel did the trick...
But jeez I got branted by the sun... No more fishing for a few days...

Looking at those plates of home made one can see you guys are big on salads eh. Must be some kind of a diet you guys follow.

If I want salad I take fish or chicken with my meat :-D It does look nice though.

Fransman Well done!!!!

Which one of the two brothers plays rugby in Fance and use to play for the Eagles? Tell him to say hello to Rooibok and Colin Huddy for me. I fished with Bossie few times when he lived in George. The Oysterbeds in Goukama are still calling.

Good to see you guys catching nice fish.

Keep well Anton
