My brew, to be honest I have also been looking at shimano's, because with the price of grapnels the way they going, I am now looking at shimano's as a substitute, about all they good for.

I have fished with the TLD and the Daiwa SL50SHK- obviously its not a Saltist, but in my opinion the Daiwa is a better reel to go for, hope you are happy with your shimano though- it will probably give you good service:D:D:D;););):p

Hey Reefie
No , my torium is still stuffed , been in for its 3rd sevice now and the okes just keep stuffing it up.Getting a bit ticked off now.I didnt service it myself as the reel is pushing 6yrs now and wanted a pro opinion.Seems there are no peeps left capable of servicing any reel properly.
By the way , how many jeeps did you buy 1 or 2 ??
