Howzit guys.  This will be the official thread.  The other one was full of discussions etc, here we will now get down to the Nitty Gritty....

First things first.  We have been approached regarding a prize for the weekend.  What the competition setup etc will be will be decided going forward but, for now what i can say is it will be within Sealine accepted formats regarding catch and release.  The competition will also only entertain edible fish.  We will be searching high and low for a prize regarding guys going for the inedibles.

Ok the prize.  We all know San Remo aka Fides has generously sponsored a weekend in his mansion on the hill as the 1st prize!!!!!  There are a few terms and conditions, but i'm sure you guys will agree that this is a most unbelievable prize.  For those that don't know the house... here are some pictures on this thread.....

Terms & Conditions

Duration : 2 or 3 nights over weekend (But sure if during week,it's prob acceptible)

Nr of People that can accompany winner : Winner can take partner or family(2 - 6 people) or a Fishing mate,a boat(Didn't ask about mistress)
 
Conditions of Accommodation/Prize:

Not over Long weekends or School Holidays;

Must confirm Booking dates with owner,Fides(Nr is on website);

More information to follow, but with this in mind, guys let's start saying who's going to be there and who's not.... Craig you can put up your list of people in the house on here as well.

Moby Dick has also posted about the camping facilities.

We will probably adopt the SSEC WC scoring format. It levels the playing field quite a lot. Many a comp has been won with a decent blacktail or 2.

Ons het more 'n social aan hier in PE, in crap weer, maar ek sal more met die ouens hier praat om te hoor wie nog almal gaan. As ek nog so 2 manne van PE kan kry is ek definitief in (petrol/diesel kostes deel).

SSEC WC is as far as i know about 20 men strong.. You PE boys better be ready to get served..::S::S::S That weekend definately gonna be AWESOME!!!!

For anglers who don't know the area,look out for this Signpost in pic to turn off N2 to Witsands.

Tip : Pick up/Collect your Groceries,liquor,braai meat in Heidelberg,prior to going into Witsands.

Witsand doesn't offer much in the line of shops,and I found stuff like fishing gear,bait,groceries,etc,very expensive in Witsands.

Just my 2c!

Yip do NOT take the first turnoff to Witsands.... it's a gravel road and increases your travel time by about 1.5 hours.

Ek is persoonlik in op die lys maar is besig om aan Tannie Kaspaas te werk...... aangesien dit langnaweek is, sal dit soveel meer aanvaarbaar vir die "Regering" wees as dit 'n "gesinsuitstappie" word.. he he. Die kostes daaraan verbonde word dan teen die huishouding se budget gedebiteer en nie teen my hengeluitgawes nie. Laasgenoemde lyk decidedly nie goed nie na my afgelope Angola trippie nie!!

(Laasgenoemde uitgawes het 'n manier om uitgeruk te word en vir getuienes gebruik tydens argumente oor uitgawes wat myns'insiens onnodig is soos vir cosmetics, sykouse, duur hondekos vir haar hond, ens, ens. he he)
