How do you preserve hooks?

Been using Q20 for about 20 years on my hooks. Do a google search on Q20 and fishing...intersting stuff!

Use fish oil to store hooks in. Available at most tackle stores for about R25 for 500ml.

Not sure if its sardine or anchovy oil. its used as a fish attractant on bait. Similar to Yum-Yum or Berkley oil, but much cheaper.

Available at Fishermans Choice in P.E. in a dropper bottle for R2.50

The little sachets that you get in pill bottles and shoe boxes is silica gel. (see the above wikipedia link)

You can basically buy a moesa bag of silica-gel pellets at the petshop. Its the stuff they use in cat litter boxes.
