Hi,
We fish Harties atleast every month
Komando Nek is notorius for criminal activity, so if it is an overnight trip rather go to Meerhof which has a little more security.
De Rust is also a nice fishing spot with alot of space.
The baits that we have used successfully at Harties are as follows:
Brand: Anglers Catch
Dips: Buzzard, Ban EX, Dronkword, T-Rex and Garlic EX
Floaties: Buzzard, Garlic Ex
Feed: Anglers Catch Mega Feed (the one with the pellets and the feed floats in)

Me an my friend is looking to go fishing at vaalkop dam this long weekend and we were wondering if u guys had any advise for us , I'm clueless wen it comes to carp , never mind catching them in the winter !! Please help ?!

We caught nothing and we tried everything ! Tcp , caramel ,fx bunspice honey, banana , almond , tigernuts , mielies etc .
