Hi Everyone after a very busy weekend of turning bushes i am happy to announce the very first lot is ready. The vesconite bushes are R60 you need one per reel only, for the chaps in cape town i will glady fit it for free polish the spool shaft to aid casting and oil the bearings as well while its open as a courtesy, for the chaps who dont mind out of town this can be posted to me by speedservice it takes 1 working day to get here, If reels need a service i charge R50 to service you want that as well. Hi Old salt, could you please inbox me your address, how long does the modification take? do you do the carbotex drag washers upgrade and how much difference is it to your modification.....would love to modify my reel as soon as posible.....

on my 100th post i would like to say that old salt is the man, and thus far has only done amazing things with my reels, and saved me a couple of good pennies with re info and maintenace tips and pointers. Good man Jonathan keep up the good work and execellent service....

Howzit old salt!! have you had a look at the Fin Nor range of reels yet?? i got my 1st one on Friday and i am quite impressed. Opend it up with my budy to make sure all the bearings were oiled and stuff and the parts on there are really top quality. The pinion gear does seem to run a bit 'noisy' on the main gear but i reckon thats because the main gear is stainless steel....

hi saber i did a 2 posts a while back on them when Darius was bringing them in still i have worked on a few of them and have only good things to say its a awsome reel and yes feels noiser or rougher due to the VERY BIG stainless main gear...............BIG BEARINGS, awsome design and over engineered like only the yanks will do . i can polish the spool shaft and make a vesocnite alignment bush like the torim/trini ones i do what you can look at eventually is carbontex then you have a proberbly the best shark reel in my humble opinion everything is designed stronger than the shimano and saltiga reels tx
