Hey guys, i'm gona be a bit blonde here, but when i open the chat site, it tells me that the Java Applet failed, could this mean that i need to download a newer version of Java than i have now... Your help will be highly appreciated...

Both guys might have old JAVa software...check your vwersions

Try this...

Click the Start menu. Go to your windows control panel, Find the "Java Plug-in" icon - double click on it.

Select the "Network connections/settings" Tab

Make sure the 'Use Browser Settings' checkbox is selected and click the "Apply" button to save your changes.

Close everything, and to be sure - restart your machine

Lets hope this works!!

2. Try Installing the lastest version of java

Hi Emperor,sorry to inundate u with these problems, but i tried what u said but no relief... When i press the Chat tab, it starts to load, i see the Java picture on the chat screen then a little red x appears on the left top of the screen, and the bottom progress bar states - "Applet client notinited", and then when i click on the chat screen, it says "Loading Java Applet failed", Please help...or i'm gona throw this computer out the building... Thanks for the assistance and sorry for being a nuisance....Hope it works...

think you need to reload / update java

came across that a while back thats what i did

I take it you have removed and reinstalled Java.

What browser/version are you using?

Try this with Internet Explorer...

1. Select tools

2. Select> Internet Options

3. Select> Advanced

4. Scroll down and tick the box/boxes under java

Weeds, once you've gone into the chatroom, on the left hand side there are icons for Forum and gallery... right click the forum and open in a new window.....
