I seem to be having the same problems as the rest of the guys, have gone through all the processes as explained by the EMP and the rest of the friendly blokes but as yet no cigar so to speak....

Howzit LGF, i'm having the same problem that u are and cant seem to get it working, but tried it at home and had no problems, but no one was on to chat with
, it seems that if you are connected to a LAN as i am u gotta change some information on your settings, i tried following the instructions on the java website, but got lost when they asked me to change some proxy information, so i gave up... if u get it working let me know... It seems that if you are connected to a LAN at work, then u have to change some settings on the network...Hope Emp can share some wisdom on this...

BTW it was and still is my old outdated pc at work that created the problem, so I'll only be able to chat when I'm at home or have the laptop with me, not at work thou, not allowed to take it in at work.

Just a thought, has anybody been able to chat to another Sealine member in the chat room at all? Cause every single time that I log on or in there's never anybody there....

See now that's what I've suspected, I'm only able to log on at night as the pc I use at work is the one they discarded after they counted the animals entring Noah's Ark, and hence when I log in I feel alot like that one song I'm lonely, ... so lonely...... hehehe, but I'll keep on loggingin perhaps one day I'll hook into some conversing fish hunter.... I know it's not the lure nor the technique, but I suspect it's got something to do with the rig and the lunar phases..... hehehehehehehe

That doesn't sound good, so it's actually a blessing in disguise that I wasn't able to chat to any of the guys there, or maybe they are lucky cause I've been told that I drive people insane sometimes.....................
