Hi Guys

New rig pic page to start. I finally could get my rig out of the store and on the beach.

I have used my Cruiser the first time and it is excellent. Guys knowing Ponta that it is always a battle with retrieving your boat from the beach. This Cruiser will pull a poeliesman off a mei.... you know who. I actually pulled the boat over the sand wall with a kinetic strap onto the flat section and then just winched it onto the trailer.

I am very happy with my boat. I bought it about three years ago and hve done about 120 hours on it. The two 90 Mercs are excellent on this rig as I use about 40 liters fuel for a 6 hour trolling session.

Enjoy your boats as I do enjoy mine.

My rig ain't as fancy as any of yours, but my boat can float.  I enjoy her immensely.  Although the number on her says Cat E, she is surveyed for Cat D, just havn't changed the number on the side yet, yes I know it is irresponsible no excuses, I must get my @ss into gear and just do it.

Hi Mousedog

You have a nice rig. Every guy who is into boating will never talk down any other guys boat. I know when I started fishing from a skiff it was the nicest thing I could have at that stage. The pleasure I had with it is the same a guy will have on a 40 footer Riviera. It is only the luxuries that change. But when your'e young you do not mind to sit  on a wooden box and get wet. As you get older these things change. Not always for the good unfortunately.

Enjoy your boats mates they are all nice.

Spot on Big Van. A bloke with a rowingboat will have just as much fun on an estuary as a bloke with some fancy setup.

If it floats and you can fish from it, you will have a blast.

Hi Unathi

Yes I was at the dam to ride some freshwater through the engines. I bought the boat with the number so that is why there is no OET number. Were you the guys with the big RED cat.? What a lovely rig whoever it belongs to.

We must get together and plan and do some fishing together.

Tight lines

Thought i'd post these of my boat and some of the stuff i've added as time went by also for the guys with smaller ducks so they can get a idea for storage space rod holders etc.. also for the benefit of rowanP on sealine i added them onto this post instead of starting a new one :1st the boat:

Stingray hydrofoils added to improve earlier planing / eliminate nose high attitude and porpoising.

Added a storage box , centrally mounted, doubles as a seat /storage space for fuel tank and odds and ends that go with on the water, also keeps the weight more central if im out alone, prevents all the loose stuff from sliding/bouncing around on the water. + mounted 4x rodholders on the box .

Hope this helps out some of the guys with smaller semi-rigids and ducks, in the fwd storage hatch is the anchor/rope + small bucket.
