Hi GUYS .MATE OF MINE WAS CALLED IN TO SHOOT A CROC WITH A CLIENT.

SUSPECTED FISHERMAN EATER AT MAPELANE.

REMEMBER READING A THREAD A WHILE BACK ABOUT FEAR OF GOD ETC , SORRY BUT IT IS TRUE THERE ARE CROCS AT MAPELANE AND IF YOU ENTER THE WATER WELL SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Ok SO ALL SEALINE FISHERMAN TAKE NOTE   

TOOTSIES ON THE SAND, HANDS OUT THE WATER AND IF YOU SEE A V SHAPED WAVE (SMALL HEADING TOWARDS YOU @#$##$#%** $%$## RUN

I was told apparently that the client bolted muttering something about religion etc but was the ultimate enthusiast while skinning only after the contents were removed to collect stones,( as some consider them good luck) did the picture materialise and all enthusiasm was immeadiately replaced by the sound of feet slapping the ground in the opposite direction.

Eish,do you guys thingk the croc had heartburn after that meal?Poor thing he must've been HUNGRY!

Why did they kill it???Maybe a mate invited him over for supper or something!Hate too see such a pretty animal killed for only beieng an animal,if you eat fish and someone come and take out all the fish what are you suppose to eat then?

That guy had it coming,only a matter of time!A nice skin he shot,ah i mean crock!Thanks for the warning!

Hmm and to think...... one still finds illiterate people swimming or standing waist deep in St.Lucia lake....... U tell em to get out and then they fluke you...... :fbasheish.... If only they knew!!!

As of late, local charter boats are noticing crocs as far a Mission rocks, cruising the back line.... according to a Wetlands Authority Biologist..... due to the influx of salt water in the lake....the flatdawgs eye lids have adapted to the salt :shock: where as before, it caused problems.....

Now imagine wading and theres one flatdawg bout 2m floating past you...... eish!!! :?

Guys

The pics came from the zoologist for (st lucia wetlands) and the ph concerned etc.

Craig had to identify if it was the rougue croc scoffing people, the only way you could do that is obviously what you see. He ( Craig) tells me that more and more crocs are travelling now due to human pressure and looking for better areas / food spots as they are breeding strongly in the wetlands and compo is fierce.

Good for them SERIOUS FOR US. Like they say when you go into their domain you become part of the chain maybe or maybe not, if you present them with something to eat they will eat it. Yes according to all concerned up there they are adapting as if there is no food inland then the esturies and more have it. No food will travel that is simple to realise.

Guys please take care and no tootsies and extremities or body parts in the water the more that is in the water the more has the chance of getting BITTEN.
