Howzit Mel

I always enjoy your input no matter what. But as i said to Jace in the above i think maybe i have been misunderstood.I in no way agreed with the A B or C catorgories..No no no..That is classing people i wouln't want it like that. What i meant was that from our member base os over 700 now there are a hand full of guy's who may want to fish competitively under the Sealine banner so to say. What i wanted was for us to maybe help give them a platform to do so and inturn they would be able to give back to us as a comunity by means of their experiences that they have while fishing competition or leagues etc etc .....I for one know that i do not have the time to fish competitively but have for a long timme wished i could.

I love watching and listening to club guy's experiences etc when they get back from a trip as well as learning about venues spots traces directions conditions etc.I feel this is where we as a novice comunity can gain alot from.I hope that you guy's understand me now as i realise that aybe i wasnt to elabarate in previous posts.

Cheers Riymos

@ LGF i feel the same way bru i know that i would not be able to fish on the competitve side of Sealine for now but i support the idea of starting one in the future.I too love the social aspect of it and would never want to kill that in any way.I am against the A B C thing but not against a handfull of representitves fishing on Sealines behalf. That however lies in he hands of Emperor who i think will have the say in who he chooses to fly the flag of Sealine....

Guys

No matter what, JUST KEEP IT REAL.

Again, I understand all the opinions and are comforable with mostly all of them, However having said that I (personally speaking) will not belong to a angling (formal) club but I would not hesitate to sign up for a Social Club, where there are fun rules and friendly competiveness rather than Strict Rigid rules and rgeulations and serious competiveness.

Like I said I'll support the Formal Team concept and creation thereof completely but I will never belong to it myself, I'll be in the trenches fighting very hard to keep the Social Front advancing as I belong there.

Happy Hunting those LGF's

Guys i remember the first time i came across the site. There were only about 5 members. The same week nivi, master ass and i met. and its been going foward ever since. we had some really good committment sincefrom all members.

I wish that all of this could culminate in a proper sealine A , B , C etc angling club social or internally competative. We can then have the top anglers moving in to represent sealine in teh NCAU or ANCHOR. members will be motivated to learn more and it caters for both teh competitive and social spheres of the sport. This experience can filter to teh beginers in the form of clinics or angling mentorship academies. I must STRESS that we must not lose the current focus and position of sealine. But we need some diversification. Just my views guys. Anyway i have a sore back cos i havent been fishing much. WHen i fish teh whole body is relaxed, my wife cant understand it

LGF AND JACE AND MEL

This was the intial post by Blade and you guy's read it carefully you will find that nowhere in the post does it say forget about the social side of things. In fact he say's that we should just look at the idea so that Sealine could maybe diversify and all the efforts maybe could culminate into something. That is what i agreed to if you read on it says This experience can filter to teh beginers in the form of clinics or angling mentorship academies.

This one frase is what caught my attention. We need people with knowledge and experience to be able to comunicate both on a cyberspace median as well as on a more personal basis. For eg at these social comps how many of the CT guy's would end up wanting to fish near NOWEEDS and always be around or near him for advice. Why you may ask well it's simple because of his experience in the competitive side of angling. This is what i support if we can filter out a handfull of guy's from our member base to represent Sealine at a competitve level then we as the novice anglers or as Jace say's the Weekend Angler can benifit on a social level.when we then host our regular social events and these experienced competitive anglers show up they can then give back to us the novices on a one to one basis.Another example i will give to you guy's is the last event held at TMR.How many guy's watched Willie's bait presentation. How many guy's listened and learned and asked questions. This is what im trying to get at,The more experience we have in Sealine the better beacause the end result would be a more knowledgable angler wether he is a Weekend one or not.KNOWLEDGE IS POWER......

With knowledge SEALINE will never die and the only way to gain knowledge is by gaining experience and the only way to gain experience is to have hands on experience so to say.I hope now you guy's can see my point....

That Angling for ya...... NO-ONE could ever know enough..... its a rapidly changing sport... conditions change etc and you gotta adapt to that...... most anglers wont... Thats were i agree upon passing info, you know, build the guy up, what more satisfaction can one get when ure advice helps your fellow SEALINE mate hook up onto a catch of a lifetime? Thats why we have SEALINE socials right? Politics made me leave club angling a while back..... they just argued over petty things, team dropped..... and since then under a diffrent focus and new managment..... Im back in. We here to fish.... not argue over status etc.... So Mel G, yep i agree with you buddy.

Hmm, someones avatar gone to his head........::H
