Hi guys I attended the launch of the Slam! range

I have seen them for about R80 - R90 a pack. There are however more units of Slam bait in a pack compared to Gulp, making Slam cheaper per unit.

I still have not had a chance to actually go test the sample pack that I got!!!

It's good to see that we have choices in which soft plastics we want to use, but just like Berkley I believe Slam is OVER PRICED

Which is exactly what I said when we first talked about it, it will be about the same price as Berkley lures.

Look at the McCarthy products, about R 50-60/packet and then you get more aswell !
Same with Storm and some of the others that I don't even know, MUCH CHEAPER, just not as well marketed.

Maybe if they spent less on marketing and flying a bunch of people all over the world for promotional dvd's and talks, they could bring the cost of their product down.

i have slam bait, mine are pink, so far no luck, but some guy looked at my slam bait and did not seal the container properly so the fluid spilt out :( makes me mad now that I think about it.

have you caught with slam in the ocean or river?

also have you tried slicing up slam and putting little pieces on the hook?
