Hi garrick.

I'm in the same boat as you are. Also planning to leave tomorrow night for a splash and dash. The weather doesn't look to good though. I'll be fishing from tomorrow night till Saturday morning, sleeping thru saturday and then fishing from sat afternoon till sunday morning.

Come guys give us some feedback on how's the fishing.

Apparently they were huge and km in length?? So anyone with info pls post!

This photo was taken in Scottburgh (near Durban South Africa) during the sardine
run. Notice how clear the water is around the sharks as the sardines keep
well away from them.

The sardines are the darker patches in the water. Also compare the size of
the sharks to that of the cars on the beach!!! Anyone for a swim ;-)

Yup KF, that is Rocky Bay. I was there during this run and this picture is quite dated...about 6 years old now...............still gif to look at though as this scenario is common ai just about any sard run.

Killer Fish,

Hope the fishing went well, i believe winkles and every else fished good on saturday. log on to www.windguru.com it helps alot for planning your fishing trips, ie weather, swells, temp, wind, wind speed/direction and wave direction as well. hope it helps.

One of my mates is on the south coast adn a small pocket of baitfish came by orange rocks this morning. After that they got stuck into small greys and he got 14 out when he eventually ran out of bait!
