A friend of mine was telling me about a dam in Kempton/Bonearo Park, not sure if any of you guys have heard of it or fished there.

Any info will be appreciated.

I think camping is not allowed.

Hi there.

Yes no camping allowed. Gates open at 7am, close at 5pm. Closed on Mondays. Catch and release.

No boats allowed...besides bait boats.

I spent 4hours there this morning, and hooked a 3kg mirror carp. Bait that works well is almond flavoured tiger nuts, and boilies.

A guy next to me caught a 2kg carp casting about 70m deep. He used earth worms.
