Hi All, I am looking to buy some bite indication

Thanks gents. I am definitely doing a lot of research. If I need to wait a bit longer, I will. I do want to get something that is going to last but not make a hole in my pocket. I am thinking local in my head but I will need to think very after reading all your guys replies.

Plus if someone owned a delk and had an issue with it, that I can understand, but some ppl just knock it to get on a band wagon, nothing Christmas tree about two lights.

for now, im happy with the delks, I owned FOX alarms, and used TLBs that belonged to a friend, I have no issues with the delk and I finally can say I don't need to upgrade,

Atish, my suggestion is, perhaps look into waiting a bit longer and buying once off, not delks or TLBs, but whatever you decide, buy for the long run.

Well said Byron. Yes there are a lot guys that talk shit about brands yet never owned the specific brand, go figure they remind me of VW owners.

Have to also agree with buying for the long run, once you invest in better quality tackle it lasts a long time. I've had my TLB's for 3.5 years. Yes they were expensive, though a lot cheaper than they are now but those simple little alarms have never missed a beat.

but I guess the only thing u can take out of this thread is stay away from a VW hahahahaha

buy the alarms once off, go look at a few guys and check out the alarms, if u not to far from me, u are welcome to come look at the delks and if we at the lake u can view some of the other alarms that the guys use..

Keep a eye open for fox warriors, around R500 a alarm last time i checked. Fished with a set for nearly 6 years. Never had a problem and only had to change the batteries once. Otherwise id go for the jackel e trons, the south african brands havent done too bad on holding their own against the european brands. I for one dont believe in blowing R10000+ on alarms or a pod, would much rather spend that money where it counts, on sessions, terminal tackle and good quality feed.

Ya ..... It goes without saying you buy what you like and what you can afford ... bottom line is to use what you buy to get the best value out of it.
