hey

im looking for a travel rod spinning outfit
some thing like a 3-7 piece rod if u get any

the smaller the better i want to put it into a suitcase

ok i understand that there will be some trade offs
in getting a travel rod but im not to phased being abel to wet a line is much better to me than sitting staring wishfully at the water wondering what could be.

I have pair of those - bought them from Ganis for R 570.00 each , last year - not sure of price now.

Great bass rods and so small . But you have to be more careful with them when collapsing segments.

Best option will be 4 piece rod , but cant get a good one in SA  ( not that I know of - maybe Shimano has now  )
P.S. Daiwa has larger variety of 4 and 6 piece travel rods .

I recall the guys from ,Hier gaan ons alweer' using them to catch big spotted grunter, so they should work for bass.

Cheers

As per Kaptein's post I agree, a good price, robust, different specs for your needs. You can use some angler friendly oil spray to keep them in shape. I have 2 of them, using them as Sabiki rods to catch live bait. Seeing that you are going to Bass with them they'll be in tip top shape because of "dry use" compared to me using them on a boat in saltwater.
