You know what... I was waiting for this...

I have 1 big problem which has a knock on effect... It takes me about 2 hours to make 1. Add materials etc and I'd have to charge you R300 each. It doesn't feel right though..

I know what these things take time and are volume dependent, if Rapala only made a few hundred units of one lure believe me R 300.00 ea would be cheap. Custom made just cost more, simple!

Busy putting small order together for some other items as well now my bungees are operational. will let know. Yellowtail should be around soon.

Keep up the good work, bet u itching to get ur new ride. hope that all goes well.

Hey Bennie. Beautiful lure man! People are paying far more than that for poppers and a little more for a Brabus and the like. I rectum the US bluefin crowd, for one,  would love them. Does it swim like a Saltiga Dorado jerk? If so, I'm in for a few!

Hi Bennie R300 may sound very much but for hand made lures I don't think its very much. If you don't mind I would like to post your one (first one) on an USA site and see what they think about your handy work. May be you can export ??

Bennie its on Strippers but not the kind that most men will now think.
Here is the first report : If it looked any more realistic you might have to feed it! I'm not an expert like some of the guys on this forum but man, that's a SUPER great looking lure "no matter who's looking at it"

All you guys making lures! Keep going, you will succeed, never give up and post your stuff! You never know what advice you might get or learn from others by simply exchanging information. A picture is worth 1000 words!

One thing I have learnt is each lure needs to be treated differently, the shape weight, balance, buoyancy, profile, tail shape, head shape, tow point, hook etc effects the action of a lure. You can only figure this out by trial and error. Unfortunately there will be a lot of error but success will come!

Lets keep this forum alive without negativity. Any negativity should be ignored!

No my friend, it has nothing to do with the paint job. My airbrush skills still suck! Foil does wondrous things though! Makes the simplest of paint jobs look great!

It has everything to do with the action of the lure! Paint only catches anglers, not fish! But you knew that already, right?

Thought I would update this thread. We have had a few small fish on this lure but most of my time is devoted to promoting Demon Tackle products. Nice to at least have one fishy pic to finalise it.::S
