You know what... I was waiting for this...bennie, got a price on those sard lures yet?
Good question... Never fished with one!Does it swim like a Saltiga Dorado jerk? If so, I'm in for a few!
That's fine! Let me know where you post it.Hi Bennie R300 may sound very much but for hand made lures I don't think its very much. If you don't mind I would like to post your one (first one) on an USA site and see what they think about your handy work. May be you can export ??
Dingleberry Buddy you just cracked me up, check the spelling of the word "reckon" thanks for a good laugh
Hey Bennie. Beautiful lure man! People are paying far more than that for poppers and a little more for a Brabus and the like. I rectum the US bluefin crowd, for one, would love them. Does it swim like a Saltiga Dorado jerk? If so, I'm in for a few!

Hey guys,
I have been making my own lures for a while, particularly garrick plugs and poppers. I've spent some time on spinning lures and I really wanted to perfect this. In total I've made around 8 different variations, playing with the weight, shape and other factors. I've made 3 moulds for this lure alone not to mention the other 5 or 6 lures I tried that did not succeed! Many of which I've never posted! I wanted this one to work and got hold of a true expert for some advice to correct some action issues I had. After a few emails to a fro, I settled on what I have now!
This lure has an awesome action and is so well balanced. Perfect snaking movement while staying perfectly upright and it slides nose down at about 15 degrees! Weight is 48 grams unrigged, spot on target! Could it be improved? I'me sure it can!
Bragging... You bet ya! Out of many, you are bound to get one right! This is mine!
Big, big thanks to DenisB
All you guys making lures! Keep going, you will succeed, never give up and post your stuff! You never know what advice you might get or learn from others by simply exchanging information. A picture is worth 1000 words!
One thing I have learnt is each lure needs to be treated differently, the shape weight, balance, buoyancy, profile, tail shape, head shape, tow point, hook etc effects the action of a lure. You can only figure this out by trial and error. Unfortunately there will be a lot of error but success will come!

I look forward to your posts!

No my friend, it has nothing to do with the paint job. My airbrush skills still suck! Foil does wondrous things though! Makes the simplest of paint jobs look great!benniejordaan wrote:Hey guys,
